Pomalo is an Imperial Stout with added hazelnut and toffee flavouring. I picked it up at ASDA, curious after hearing a few good things about it.

Unfortunately, this one was a no‑go.

There are hints of what could’ve been a decent stout — it’s not overly sweet, which I appreciate — but the artificial aroma and odd, synthetic taste of the flavourings completely threw me off. It’s drinkable, but not enjoyable. This one wasn’t as weird or undrinkable as others I’ve tasted, but I wouldn’t drink a full can of it.
